- As flight disruptions continue due to the ash cloud from an Icelandic volcano, new measures went into effect at midday Tuesday (May-18) that will let planes fly at higher ash densities than currently permitted.
- Between Saturday and Monday, when disruptions were greatest, IATA said lost revenues reached $400 million each day.
- Armann Hoskuldsson, a volcanologist at the University of Iceland, told a briefing that the volcano's output is now "insignificant," though it will continue to be active for a while.

DAY 1 Cairo

DAY 2 Cairo

DAY 3 Cairo

DAY 4 Cairo / Alexandria
Check out after breakfast and be transported to Alexandria by a deluxe, air-conditioned coach (220 Km). Upon arrival to Alexandria you will be transferred to the hotel for check in. In the afternoon, you will visit the National Museum, Bibliotheca of Alexandria, Catacombs and the Roman Amphitheater. Take pleasure in viewing the Qaitbay Citadel and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5 Alexandria / Alalmein / Cairo
Check out after breakfast and be transported to Alalmein (108 Km) to visit El Alalmein Museum and the Second World War cemeteries. After the visit, proceed to Cairo (245 Km) for your check in. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6 Cairo
Check out after breakfast and transfer to the Cairo International Airport for the final departure.
