  • As flight disruptions continue due to the ash cloud from an Icelandic volcano, new measures went into effect at midday Tuesday (May-18) that will let planes fly at higher ash densities than currently permitted.
  • Between Saturday and Monday, when disruptions were greatest, IATA said lost revenues reached $400 million each day.

Itinerary:

DAY 1 Cairo
Upon arriving to the Cairo International Airport, meet and be assisted by an Exclusive representative. Next, be transferred by a deluxe coach to the hotel in Cairo to check in.

DAY 2 Cairo
Full day tour of the Great Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili bazaars, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

DAY 3 Cairo / Alexandria / Cairo
Full day tour of Alexandria by a deluxe, air-conditioned coach to visit the Greco-Roman museum, the Catacombs & the Pompey’s Pillar. Enjoy lunch during the excursion then return to Cairo for your transfer to the railway station to board the overnight sleeper train to Luxor.

DAY 4 Luxor / Hurghada
Upon arriving to Luxor, visit the Valley of Kings, the Queen Hatchepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Karnak and Luxor Temples. This will include lunch at a local restaurant. Next, transport to Hurghada by a deluxe, air-conditioned coach (285 Km). Upon arriving in Hurghada, transfer to the hotel to check in.

DAY 5 Hurghada
Enjoy the beach, sun and sea. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6 Hurghada / Cairo
Check out after breakfast and transport to Cairo by a deluxe, air-conditioned coach (500 Km). Upon arrival in Cairo, transfer to the hotel to check in and stay the night.

DAY 7 Cairo / Final Departure
Check out after breakfast and transfer to the Cairo International Airport for the final departure.
